KYN28A-12 AC Metal-Clad Withdrawable Switchgear
Mainly applied in power plants for feeding small- and medium-sized generators, in industrial and mining enterprises for power distribution, and in secondary substations of utility networks for receiving and delivering power as well as for starting large high-voltage motors. It performs control, protection and monitoring functions.
The switchgear fully complies with IEC 62271-200 (IEC 298) and GB 3906, and incorporates a comprehensive interlock system that
·prevents withdrawal or insertion of the circuit-breaker truck while on load,
·prevents incorrect opening or closing of the circuit breaker,
·prevents closing the circuit breaker when the earthing switch is in the closed position,
·prevents access to live compartments, and
·prevents inadvertent closing of the earthing switch while the circuit is energized.
It can be equipped with either the VSI vacuum circuit breaker or ABB’s VD4 vacuum circuit breaker, making it a distribution solution of superior performance.
