On April 28, members of the New Generation Association of Yueqing Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce went to Yueqing Bay Lingang Economic Development Zone for a visit and exchange activity, focusing on visiting the New Energy Digital Industrial Park of Yifa Holding Group. Regarding the functional positioning of the Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce in serving the development of enterprises under the new situation, the focus was on discussing how overseas Chinese business organizations can give full play to their cross-border resource advantages in building a new development pattern, empowering enterprises to cope with international trade challenges and achieve high-quality development. Zhou Shenghai, Deputy Director of the United Front Work Department of the Yueqing Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, attended the event and delivered a speech.
During the visit to the Yifa Group New Energy Digital Science and Technology Museum, the visiting guests gained an in-depth understanding of the company's innovative layout in the field of new energy. The Science and Technology Museum uses digital display methods to fully present the core technological achievements of Yifa Group in the fields of smart microgrids, integrated photovoltaic storage and charging, and smart energy management. In particular, the self-developed Yifa full-network photovoltaic inverter system solution aroused great interest among the guests.
Zhou Shenghai, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, pointed out in his concluding speech: "The current international economic and trade environment is complex and changeable. Overseas Chinese business enterprises must strengthen their confidence and give full play to the advantages of integrating China and foreign countries. I hope that the new generation of the Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce will strengthen learning and exchanges, actively make suggestions for local economic development, and at the same time serve as a "civilian messenger" for Sino-foreign economic and trade cooperation."
At the symposium, General Manager Zheng of Yifa Holding Group introduced the company's development strategy under the Sino-US trade environment. In the face of changes in the international trade situation, Yifa Group has maintained a steady growth in export business by increasing R&D investment, optimizing supply chain layout, and expanding the "Belt and Road" market. It is particularly emphasized that the overseas Chinese business network has played an irreplaceable role in international market development and cross-border technical cooperation.
Afterwards, we visited the new energy digital production workshop of Yifa Holding Group. The workshop uses cutting-edge technologies such as deep artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), and digital twins to build a fully automated, data-driven intelligent manufacturing system. By optimizing production processes, realizing transparent production management, and significantly improving production efficiency and product quality, it is leading Yifa's digital transformation and upgrading, and fully releasing the potential of new quality productivity.
At the meeting, Chen Jianyuan, legal adviser to the CPC Yueqing Municipal Committee and Municipal Government, and the Municipal Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, elaborated on legal issues such as how private enterprises can deal with the trade war and tariff war initiated by the United States, as well as the opportunities and risks of Chinese enterprises' overseas investment. Zheng Anhua, secretary-general of the Municipal Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce and deputy secretary-general of Jiang Xiangyang, participated in the discussion. The delegates agreed that in the context of Sino-US trade frictions, overseas Chinese enterprises should focus on three aspects: strengthen technological innovation and increase product added value through new quality transformation; optimize market layout and deepen cooperation with emerging markets such as Central Africa, Central Asia, ASEAN, and Central and Eastern Europe; make full use of overseas Chinese resources and break through trade barriers with the help of overseas Chinese business networks. In the future, Yifa Holding Group will continue to deepen cooperation with the Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce, jointly explore international opportunities in the field of new energy, and contribute to Yueqing's efforts to build a "global advanced manufacturing base".
